Tracy A.  Brune graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A. in English in 1986, and attended Western New England University School of Law, graduating with his Juris Doctor in 1993. After admission to the New York State Bar in 1994, Mr. Brune began his career as a lawyer representing the City of Syracuse in workers' compensation matters.  From 1997 to 2006, Mr. Brune was a Senior Partner in the firm of Leiter and Brune, representing both injured workers and insurance carriers in Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability claims.  In 2006, Mr. Brune joined Wolff, Goodrich and Goldman, working as a Syracuse based workers' compensation lawyer for insurance carriers and employers, and ultimately became a Partner in 2008.

During his career Mr. Brune has appeared at thousands of workers' comp hearings for both injured workers and insurance carriers, primarily in the Upstate New York area, including Syracuse, Oswego and Watertown.  He has argued cases before the New York State Appellate Division, the second highest ranking court in New York.  In particular, Mr. Brune successfully defended an injured worker accused of workers' compensation fraud by the New York State Insurance Fund.  In a case widely reported in the New York Law Journal, the Court ruled that the injured worker was not guilty, allowing benefits to continue.

Mr. Brune is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Onondaga County Bar Association and the Injured Workers Bar Association.

Mr. Brune resides in Baldwinsville, New York with his wife and two children.
